Message from our President:
Our Summer competition Finals were held on Saturday 27th March 2010.
The weather was perfect, the polo was good and we had two Sydney Referees down to show us how it is done. It was a great day.
We should firstly congratulate all of our Players for presenting themselves well during the games and out of the pool. Well done on getting to the finals.
As you will see on the results list below, Nordek were again too strong this year and congratulations to them for a fine effort.....however you will notice that there is an interuption to their winning each grade.
Congratulations to our Men’s 2nd Grade team, you performed brilliantly and what a nail biting game you offered the spectators. It was a very close game !
Well done Tarek on coaching the team to success....and Well done to our wonderful Goalie and Captain Matt Farrer, who instructed from the pool. To our players we hope that you enjoyed your experience and learnt so much....congratulations to all.
Last but certainly not least......Thank You Rene Bol, for getting the team to the Finals!...Your dedication to Vikings is and always will be valued greatly. We hope that you enjoy your retirement from the pool, but hope that you will stay involved with our other endeavours and look forward to you as M.C. for our trivia nights and other activities...Your experience will be sorely missed. J
On Behalf of the Committee, we look forward to seeing everyone back in May ready for training for Winter.
