The Tuggeranong Vikings Water Polo Club was officially formed in August 1994 and is one of the largest water polo clubs operating in the ACT. Formerly known as Services, the club has been a prominent force in ACT water polo since its inception. The club has won numerous ACT championships in both men's and women's grades and has also been very successful in NSW Water Polo competitions, winning the men's NSW Country Club Championship in 1988, 1990, 1991 (as Services), and 1996 and 1999 (as Vikings).
The Club boasts a large number of current and former national, international and ACT representatives and is particularly proud of its junior development program. The Tuggeranong Vikings Water Polo Club caters for players of all levels, is affiliated with ACT Water Polo Incorporated, and is also involved in accredited coaching and referee programs.
Club Organisation
The Club is incorporated and has a committee that is responsible for the general direction of the Club and its day-to-day operations. The committee has a number of objectives that include:

Promoting water polo throughout the ACT but particularly within the Tuggeranong area;

Maintaining an effective junior and senior development program; and

Attracting and developing new members, especially juniors.
