Membership Details
Membership of the Club is open to anyone who is interested in the game or would like to become involved. Joining the Club is simply a matter of filling out a registration form and paying an annual membership fee.
Please be aware, the club will be changing its registration period as of this year. From now on the registration period will run from 1 July till 30 June of the following year.
Membership fees for the 2010-11 Water Polo Season are as follows:
Seniors - $TBA
Juniors - $TBA
Families with two or more members receive a 15% discount
Fees for the 20010-11 Water Polo Season include ACTWP annual registration insurance, ACTWP Summer Season (Commencing November 2010), and club training and equipment levy. Fees do not include any other competitions that may be held throughout the year (e.g. Social Competitions, Lightning Competitions, or Friday Night Junior Competitions).
The Club offers membership for supporters (people who are interested in the game but do not want to or are unable to play competitively) and for families. All Club supporters and members are welcome to participate in Club training , will receive copies of the Club newsletter The Whistleblower, and can participate in the running of the Club. Club supporters may also upgrade their memberships at any time.
Club Affiliation
The Club is affiliated with the Tuggeranong Valley Rugby Union and Amateur Sports Club (TVRU & ASC). As a result, the Club receives financial support from the TVRU & ASC in the form of grants and scholarships for talented members. The Club supports the TVRU & ASC whenever it can. It also promotes membership of the TVRU & ASC, particularly by senior players, and attendance at the 'Vikings' annual sports presentation nights and associated social activities. The Club is also involved in the raffles conducted by the TVRU & ASC at each of its licensed clubs.
